I'm selling one of my Lotus Esprit's. This is a 1985 Esprit turbo. I originally purchased the car to add to my Lotus collection (Currently I have a 97 Esprit twin turbo V8 & a 05 Elise Turbo racecar). I always wanted to have the "James Bond" style Lotus Esprit...there's just something about that body that I fell in love with.
Take a look at the photos....this quite possibly can be a rare "black badge" car. Do your own research, this could be a serious rare find!!! I came across this Esprit. The car was involved in a theft - the center console was damaged and the stereo was stolen along with the original Lotus wheels.Other than that, the car is pretty much complete. Since purchasing the car, it has been stored with the rest of my cars and toys in a heated garage. I haven't done much with the car since purchasing it other than starting the car to make sure the drivetrain was all intact and then to make a video for the sale of the car. I also placed a set of wheels on the car to move it around. Unfortunately, the economy and my day job (car dealership advertising) have taken a turn in a bad direction. I need to start selling off a number of my cars and toys. Maybe my loss will be your gain! The car has a low reserve and is a great deal for somebody looking for a Lotus Esprit. As I said, the car will start, but it is not in "running / driving" condition. This car will need a going through...plan on having it delivered to you or come pick it up with a trailer. The wheels are not part of the auction but are available for purchase if you want them! |
